Some stories were never meant to be forgotten.

There is a man in the archive — tall as a shadow across a Japanese castle wall, carried by the tides of history from the African continent to the courts of feudal Japan. He crossed every boundary the world placed before him. He learned the language. He earned the sword. Shujaa is brewed in that spirit.

This Japanese hojicha is slow-roasted until the leaves surrender their rawness and emerge as something transformed — darker, deeper, quietly powerful. Two worlds live in this cup: the ancient tea traditions of Japan, and the bold, unshakeable resilience of Africa. Neither canceled out. Both fully present.

It pours a warm amber-red, carrying notes of toasted caramel. Low in caffeine, high in intention. Smooth enough to still you, morning, noon, or evening. Strong enough to remind you who you are.
